What we collect
Movie Boxes works without an account. We store your watchlist, quiz progress and app preferences locally on your iPhone. If you enable iCloud sync, that data is stored in your own private iCloud container, which we cannot read.
Analytics & tracking
We collect anonymous, aggregated crash reports and basic usage counts to fix bugs. There is no advertising SDK, no cross-app tracking, no device fingerprinting and no data broker in the app. We never sell personal data.
Third-party content
Movie and TV metadata, posters and ratings are provided by public catalogue APIs. Requests are made from your device for the titles you view. Those providers may log standard request data under their own policies.
Your rights & control
You can erase everything at any time from Settings → Reset App Data, which removes all local and synced content. For deletion requests or questions, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
